Yesterday I applied for universities AND colleges. Both because I'm afraid of not being accepted into anything =(. Guess how long it took me to finish everything? No, not one hour but three. The application wasn't confusing or long. I just couldn't narrow down my options. For universities you can choose three places and it's $38 per extra university. For colleges it's only 5 you can apply to and a maximum of 3 programs at one place for $95. So this is how it went down: I had 7 universities and 12 colleges. um ERKSZ! clearly I'm undecided, that's why it took me three hours! In the end I didn't even pick three universities, I picked four! I was GOING to pick 5 -- fifth would have been Carleton University in Ottawa but I figured that would be a little too far for my parents to handle. I chose two universities in Toronto and two out and I mean OUT of town just so the curfew may be terminated ;). So basically my parents will be paying $248 for post-secondary applications alone... Merry Christmas mom and dad?
